Related Entities Audit and Tax Services

The Vendor is required to provide conduct audits of the financial statements, accounts, records and procedures for each related entity in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) to insure that such financial statements and appended notes present fairly, in all material aspects, the related entity’s financial position in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and with applicable governmental accounting standards board (GASB) statements. 
- Related Entities are in the process of migrating to a cloud-based software as a service solution for its finance and human resources activities; this conversation will occur during the contract period.
- These components include, but are not limited to, the Statement of Net Assets, Statement of Revenue, Expense and Changes in Net Assets, Statement of Cash Flow, Footnote Disclosures and a Management’s Discussion and Analysis (collectively, the “Annual Financial Report”).
- Changes are subject to required and/or optional accounting standards pronouncements issued by financial accounting authorities.
- The Management Letter shall include recommendations for any improvement of internal controls along with an area for Management Responses to address corrective actions to be taken in subsequent years and carry-forward any prior year uncorrected recommendations.
- Related Entities have the ability to request extension of time to file.
- Provide at least one training per fiscal year to accountants at the related entities, colleges and central office who work on related entity audits and taxes regarding financial statement preparation, management’s discussion and analysis preparation, taxes, and GASB updates.
