The Vendor is required to provide an auditor to assess its clery compliance program/efforts.
- This review would take place in a live and virtual format
- This assessment will include an interview of the clery compliance committee and of key staff members in areas such as: personnel in public safety, real estate/space management, general counsel, risk management/ compliance, and/or other offices involved in the compliance process, as determined in advance.
- Review and evaluate the current processes and systems designed to ensure compliance.
- The team will also review the campus map and will assist in determining if the institution has properly identified the core campus and other clery reportable locations.
- Meet with Department personnel responsible for assessing reports to determine the correct classification and count for incidents that meet the clery act definitions.
- The report will outline areas of concern that were identified during the review and will provide guidance and suggestions and make specific recommendations to enhance the compliance efforts of the institution.
