The Vendor is required to provide accounting, financial services, and technical assistance in the following areas: year-end close-out; financial management oversight including monthly financial reviews and assistance related to HUD accounting practices and agency policies and procedures; pension services and other related services as required.
- Prepare Financial Data Schedule (FDS).
- Trace and agree contributions amounts from payroll records and bank accounts to investment records and participant records, in total and on a sample basis.
- Reconcile amounts to general ledger accounts.
- Test controls as necessary.
- Prepare reports on an as needed basis.
- Meet with staff and external auditors as needed.
- As needed financial and operational reviews and analyses, and the development of financial and/or operational procedures.
