The Vendor is required to provide audits for a period of up to 5 years, subject to annual budget appropriation by city council, beginning with the year ending December 31, 2026.
- A federal single audit as required in accordance with government auditing standards and procedures issued by the comptroller general of the country may be required in any year if the grant levels are sufficiently large.
- Requirement:
• Space deemed adequate by the selected firm to efficiently conduct the examination as needed. Remote examination is also acceptable.
• Prepare and type all necessary confirmations.
• Prepare work-papers, schedules, and statements in the format previously provided unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in advance.
• Adjusted general ledger and trial balance for each fund.
• Prepare a bank reconciliation for each bank account as of year-end as well as prepare a detailed investment schedule.
• Analysis of accounts receivable balances as of year-end.
• Worksheet of accounts payable balances as of year-end.
• Reconciled schedule of capital assets.
• Annual check register for both accounts payable and payroll.
• Prepare a detailed schedule of all legal costs.
• Prepare a compensation liability analysis schedule.
• City staff will be available for audit assistance such as retrieval of supporting documentation, scanning/emailing, and any miscellaneous activities that may be required by the auditor to assist the auditor in completion of the audit.
