The Vendor is required professional finance consulting services on an as-needed basis will assist the county with governmental financial management, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, grant compliance, internal controls, audit preparation, policy development, and related financial consulting services.
• Services may include, but are not limited to:
• Budget development, monitoring, amendments, and financial forecasting.
• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• General ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Payroll processing support and payroll compliance assistance.
• Grant budget development, financial reporting, reimbursement requests, and compliance monitoring.
• Audit preparation, financial documentation, and assistance in responding to auditor inquiries.
• Development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Technical assistance and training for County staff on financial management best practices.
• Assistance with procurement, contract financial administration, and special finance-related projects.
• Other accounting, bookkeeping, and financial consulting services as requested by the County.
• The consultant shall provide timely recommendations, reports, and supporting documentation to promote sound financial management, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
