The Vendor is required to provide certified public accountants for accounting services for all programs for the period of October 1, 2026 -December 31, 2029.
- These accounting services are to be conducted in accordance with the housing and urban development (HUD) handbooks.
• Monthly reconciliation of the general ledger and balance sheet accounts.
• Coordination and support for annual independent audits and HUD financial reviews.
• Fixed assets, inventory, and capital fund accounting and reconciliation.
• Review and assistance with chart of accounts, account mapping, and financial system configuration.
• Review of financial internal controls and recommendations for improvements.
• Financial guidance and technical assistance to executive management and finance department staff.
• Review reconciliation of the bank statements and ensure agreement of reconciled balances with the general ledger balances.
• Attendance at management, board, auditor, or HUD meetings when requested.
• Timely identification and communication of accounting discrepancies, compliance concerns, missing information, and potential reporting delays
• All other duties that may be required from time to time to comply with HUD accounting guidelines.
