The vendor is required to provide that water resources engineering and related services as-needed basis.
- Competitive negotiations for architectural or professional engineering services contracts may result in awards to more than one offeror.
- Services shall include but not be limited to:
• Stormwater and bmp planning and design, both new and retrofitted, including an understanding of the commonwealth of state stormwater regulations, the chesapeake bay TMDL, other local TMDLS, and constraints of the coastal plain;
• Tidal flood protection planning and design, including knowledge of berms, levees, floodwalls, stormwater pumping stations, and tide gates;
• Shoreline protection planning and design, including knowledge of breakwaters and shoreline stabilization from naturalized (living shorelines) to hardened (stone and bulkhead);
• Dredging and watercourse navigational planning and design
• Stormwater drainage system inventory and management, including BMPs, outfalls, ditches, and other conveyances;
• Water quality testing and evaluation;
• Environmental permitting
• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
• Resilience planning and design, incorporating innovative water management, urban planning and recreation planning to develop innovative water management projects
• Community outreach and engagement
• GIS management and analysis
- The consultant shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation and all incidentals necessary for the expeditious completion of the work.
- The city is procuring these services on a nonexclusive basis.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
