The vendor is required to provide from qualified consulting firms to provide consulting services for 2025 library renovations (the "services").

• Consistent throughout 2. Assessment of current conditions
3. Existing services and areas – optimization
• Quiet study zone
• Overall visibility and surveillance improvements
• Conversation and group zones
• Children’s play zone
• Shelving placement
• Catalogue computers
• Public access computers
• Signage and wayfinding
i. Low activity areas, recommended services to utilize areas
i. Reading room
ii. Archives reading room
• Circulation desk – improve functionality and decrease footprint
• Entrance – improve functionality and accessibility
• Washrooms – improve functionality and cleanliness
• Existing children’s program room(basement)
i. Improve – ceiling, flooring, security, accessibility, safety
4. Furniture recommendations
• Soft chairs and lounge seating
• Tables and chairs
• Public access computer workstations
• Café style long table at window locations
5. New services and areas
• Public meeting rooms – small group and study room

6. Budget estimates for all recommendations
