Project Technical Assistance Services

The Vendor is required to provide project technical assistance services for include:
• Geotechnical testing – provide a full range of soil testing services for projects including: soil index (sieve analysis, Waterberg limits, specific gravity); soil properties (shear strength, consolidation characteristic, moisture content and hydraulic properties); compaction testing (standard and modified proctor, ca bearing ratio); compressive strength testing and in-place density testing (nuclear density meter).
• Civil engineering services – provide a full range of civil engineering services including: foundation recommendations based upon geotechnical testing; civil engineering project design services such as foundations, retaining walls, groundwater drainage, storm water projects, parking and roadway pavements, erosion control, and utilities (water, wastewater/sewer).
• Inspection of materials – provide laboratory and onsite testing services in support of building projects to include: soil testing and density; concrete analysis and testing (mix design review, slump, floor flatness, compressive strength); pavement materials and strength; masonry (units and mortar); structural steel erection testing (includes bolted connections, destructive and non-destructive weld testing such as magnetic particle, liquid dye, and ultrasonic).
• Civil and structural forensic engineering – provide a full range of services to determine problems and failures of civil and structural engineering systems related to real property sites, buildings and other constructed facilities.
• Work includes investigation, analysis, report writing and expert witness testimony.
• Construction inspection and review and project assistance – provide onsite inspection and review and testing services for projects including but not limited to: certified construction review (CCR) storm water and sediment qualified; onsite quality inspection of earthwork, foundations, concrete, pavements, masonry and structural steel erection services include specification review, quality assurance and quality control, and documentation (written and photographic).
