The vendor is required to provide artificial intelligence (AI) predictive maintenance services for include:
• Service must be based on an already existing system that is operational and proven with at least three existing transit authorities of similar size or larger.
• The database must be capable of handling a large number of vehicles and data that operate under similar conditions and climates to country.
• The service must be able to connect to the can j1939 communication network via a diagnostic port and be able to transmit data continuously across a cellular network.
• The intention of the requested service is to provide continuous diagnostic solutions for sensors, probes, and fault codes using artificial intelligence to identify potential anomalies.
• Anomalies are to be analyzed by a qualified technician employed by the respondent.
• It will be the duty of the technician to issue a repair plan for saskatoon transit upon analysis.
• The technician must have a minimum of ten years combined experience in the field of mechanics as well as data analysis.
• Analysis based on fault codes will not be considered a form of analysis by use of A.I.
• Failure codes will be accepted as repair plans for the following systems, dependent upon the bus configuration.
o Transmission
o ABS
o HUBNER
o Bae
o HVAC
• The successful respondent will submit repair plans via e-mail to saskatoon transit representatives as well as via an online portal.
• Each plan is to contain a single issue to be corrected along with the steps required to validate it.
• Repair plans and validation steps are to be written clearly and concisely so as to not require any additional training or personnel to interpret them.
