The Vendor is required to provide AI detection tool to assist in identifying AI-generated content within student submissions and institutional documents.
- The solution must be capable of analyzing submitted content and providing reliable indicators of AI-generated material.
- Functional requirements
• Provide tools or insights to assist faculty and students in understanding the writing process, including identification of potential AI-assisted content generation patterns
• Include a transparency component that provides visibility into how AI detection results are generated and presented to users
• Provide student usage analytics and reporting capabilities, including activity tracking and summary reports
• Allow faculty and administrators to enable or disable student-facing features, including AI detection visibility and feedback.

• Provide configurable controls over writing assistance features (if applicable), such as spell check, grammar suggestions, or AI-generated writing support visibility
• Provide vendor support and ongoing training resources throughout the duration of the subscription, including updates and user assistance
• Detect AI-generated content across multiple formats, including essays, reports, and other written assignments
• Confidence score or probability rating indicating the likelihood that submitted content is AI generated
• Highlight or identify portions of text suspected to be AI-generated
• Support multiple file formats, including but not limited to pdf, Microsoft word, and plain text
• Provide reporting features for faculty, administrators, and institutional users
• Demonstrate high accuracy in detection and implement measures to minimize false positives and false negatives
