The Vendor is required to provide ongoing maintenance for its portfolio of vacant lots services may include, but are not limited to lawn care, landscaping, small tree removal, litter and debris pickup, bulk item and junk removal, and sign installation.
- Services include:
• Furnish all supervision, labor, machinery, tools, equipment, and services.
• Perform and complete all work efficiently, in a workmanlike and timely manner to help mitigate and/or resolve city public nuisance code complaints.
• Maintain identified lots to meet the approval of the housing and neighborhoods department and other city departments (i.e., code enforcement, fire, etc.)
• Follow directions from the property manager or other designated city officials or agents.
• Performance evaluation based partly on the number of complaints received and resolved regarding maintenance quality.
• Provide a 24-hour response time for all emergency maintenance requests.
• Provide a 48-hour response time for all non-emergency maintenance requests.
• Appoint one person as a point of contact for communication.
• Provide cost estimates broken down between materials and labor, upon request.
- Monthly maintenance includes, but is not limited to:
• Perform weekly cleaning of each lot (or more frequently if needed).
• The task includes, but is not limited to, the removal of all litter and debris, with proper offsite disposal.
• Perform mowing, edging, and string trimming twice a month for each lot.
• All grass clippings shall be blown back into the lot and not left on the street.
• All maintenance activities should encompass the entire parcel.
• Trim all shrubs, bushes, and plants up to six (6) inches in caliper.
• While trimming is not required on every visit, professional judgment is expected to maintain appropriate vegetation standards on each lot.
• Removal of bulk items and junk from vacant lots where illegal dumping has occurred.
