The vendor is required to provide structural assessment and shoring design services for agency.
• Coordinate with the city building and safety division and fire department to obtain the red tag notice and any available incident reports.
• Conduct an exterior visual survey to identify immediate collapse hazards before entering; prepare a brief field memorandum authorizing limited interior access (if safe) or prescribing remote assessment methods if not.
• Complete a full structural observation, including photographic documentation, limited nondestructive testing (hammer sounding, moisture readings, etc.), and representative sampling of charred members where necessary.
• Evaluate gravity and lateral load paths for the remaining structure; determine the residual capacity of masonry walls.
• Develop stamped shoring or bracing drawings, notes, and calculations sufficient for a demolition permit.
• Design loads shall reflect city wind and seismic parameters.
• Recommend demolition sequencing, temporary column locations, wall ties, and exclusion zones.
• Attend one pre demolition coordination meeting (virtual or on site) and respond to one round of city plan check comments.
• Provide construction support including responding to RFI’s, attending field meetings as needed, construction observation, and special inspection (if needed).

• 48-hour verbal hazard summary
• Draft report and shoring plans within 14 calendar days of notice to proceed
• Final stamped report, CAD and PDF plan set, and editable calculations within 7 days of receiving city comments
