The Vendor is required to provide for the development of a strategic asset management plan, asset management maturity assessment and guidance in selecting a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for water, sewer, stormwater and roadway infrastructure while planning.
- Asset Management Policy Development
• Internal asset management policy development review;
• Asset management ownership (internal division and organization relationship recommendation)
• Education of city employees about asset management;
• Development of draft asset management policy;
• Asset management policy approval; and,
• Approved asset management policy education workshop with key stakeholders and staff.
- Review existing data sets and develop objective recommendations for improving the data set accuracy;
- Assess information and interview results to establish practice and process gaps and establish a preliminary specification for CMMS needs.
- Assist with the business processes, practices and preventative maintenance standard operating instructions to prepare for CMMS implementation;
- Develop CMMS selection specifications based on communication with the City’s selection team;
- Assist the research and identification of suitable CMMS options.
