The vendor is required to provide all necessary equipment and system configuration of existing Crestron headend equipment to upgrade the current library audio and video capabilities and establish livestreaming.
- The audio-visual (AV) capabilities in conference rooms A-C within the county library, primarily focusing on:
• Improving the presenter’s ability to monitor their presentation in real-time using a confidence monitor.
• Enhancing visibility for audience members seated at the back of the room through additional large displays.
• Increasing flexibility and ease of control over av systems through centralized control interfaces and automation.
• Supporting various operational modes to allow seamless integration for public use, company streaming, and training sessions.
• Ensuring that the system is capable of operating independently or in combined room configurations.
• Implementing automated system resets to maintain consistent performance and system integrity.
- Presenter confidence monitor
• Install a 55" display positioned to be easily visible to the presenter.
• Include an HDMI splitter to mirror the projection screen onto the confidence monitor.
• This solution will allow the presenter to monitor their presentation without turning away from the audience, improving engagement and reducing presentation errors.

• Install additional displays positioned at the back of the room to provide clear visibility of the presentation.
• Route the video signal through a distribution amplifier to ensure consistent quality across all displays.
• Provide and install conduit to conceal and protect cabling for a clean and professional installation.
• This solution will improve the viewing experience for all audience members, increasing overall engagement and content retention.
- Multi-room projector installation (rooms a, b, and c)
• Install two smaller projectors in rooms a and c to provide consistent av capabilities across rooms.
• Install a larger, higher-lumen projector in room b to accommodate larger presentations.
• If the customer chooses to provide the projectors, they will be evaluated for compatibility and installed accordingly.
• Ensure proper wiring and configuration to enable easy switching between sources.
• This solution will standardize projection quality across all rooms, allowing for more consistent and professional presentation capabilities.
- Centralized control and automation (room b)
• Install a touch screen controller mounted on a rolling equipment rack for centralized control.
• Integrate room partition sensors to automate av switching based on room configuration.
• Provide a network switch to support multiple av devices with low latency and high reliability.
• Configure the system to automatically reset to default settings at the end of each day or upon a hard reboot.
• This solution will reduce setup time, improve operational efficiency, and simplify the user experience.
- Room B
• Provide and install (1) 55" display for presenter confidence monitoring.
• Provide and install (1) ceiling mount kit for the display.
• Provide and install (1) HDMI splitter to mirror projector content on the confidence monitor.
• Provide and install (1) 42-unit rolling equipment rack.
• Provide and install (1) network switch (av-capable).
• Provide and install (1) touch screen controller with 3u rack mount.
• Provide and install (2) partition sensors for automatic control of room dividers and av switching.
• Conceal and protect all cabling using conduit and raceways where appropriate.
• Test and calibrate all installed components for optimal performance.
- Rooms A, B, and C
