Post Processing Sound Data Services

The Vendor is required to provide for post-processing services of sound, weather, and operational data collected from wind generation facilities sited in state.
- Operations as well as any retest, are subject to the provisions indicated in sound testing compliance protocols (STCP) and the noise complaint resolution plans or protocols (NCRP) approved by the agency, which may be different for each project.
- Protocols also have requirements for instrumentation, positions to be tested, and procedures for collection, filtering, corrections, calculations, and reporting of results.
- Sound results are processed to determine whether the project is found in compliance with any certificate conditions on noise of the applicable order or local laws on noise, if any.
- If a non-compliance situation is found in data collected by the certificate holder, additional tests and therefore post-processing of additional data may be necessary after mitigation measures are implemented.
