The vendor is required to provide press event audio services for two years (October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2027).
- Reach important milestones in the coming months and years that will require major public announcements and press events.
- Future press events may include:
• Trolley and bus service announcements
• Service change and ballot measure announcements
• Special event service to sporting events and concerts
• Key transit-oriented development developments
• Holiday service promotions
• And more.
- Provide audio equipment and technical labor services in a timely manner and be able to conduct themselves professionally in environments that feature elected officials, community leaders and agency board members and staff.
- Service for most events will be requested 2-3 weeks in advance and the selected contractor will be expected to:
• Provide all necessary audio equipment for successful execution of the press event.
• Equipment may include, but is not limited to:
o Audio system
o Speakers and stands
o Speaker’s podium
o Microphone(s)
o Press audio patch
o Power generator and fuel
o Safety cable and wire dressings or covers
o All necessary cables and accessories
• Agency will not provide any additional equipment.
• Be able to set-up the equipment one and a half (1.5) hour prior to the event’s start and break down the equipment after the event.
• Provide labor to offer technical support and troubleshoot during the event.
• Most events last one (1) hour with three (3) additional hours needed for set-up and breakdown respectively, totaling four (4) hours per event.
• Most events will be held during regular business hours on weekdays, but events during non-business hours and on weekends should be expected occasionally.
