AV Technology Services

The vendor required to provide audiovisual (AV) system reinstallation and restoration.
•    The existing broadcast and av technology have been removed from the chambers to allow for the demolition of the space.
•    The existing control room and equipment racks are intact and should not require any work within those spaces. 
•    These are shown as in the adjacent “A/V suite on the drawings.
•    The system consists of PTZ cameras, both ceiling mounted and shelf mounted, microphones mounted in the millwork, ceiling projectors and ceiling mounted video monitors.
•    The existing cables that run from the dais and floor boxes to the control room were dropped through the floor and are currently stored in the ceiling of the floor below.
•    Provide all equipment and cabling.
•    Provide misc. 
•    Installation consumables such as cable ties and ceiling tie wire.
•    Work will include the following:
o    Install (1) wall mounted 1 gang wall plate. 
o    Install (1) wall mounted 1 gang touch panel. 
o    Install (1) wall mounted USB PTZ camera. 
o    Install (3) lectern av connection plates in floor poke thru with (3) connectors per plate
o    Install (2) staff table av connection plates in floor poke thru with (3) connectors per plate 
o    Install (18) 5” 70v ceiling flush mounted speakers in new acoustic tile ceiling. 
o    Extend existing home run cables and install jumpers between speakers per zone.
o    Install (11) gooseneck microphones into dais millwork top surface. 
o    Drilling of mounting holes through work surface may be required. 
o    Install (6) gooseneck microphones into staff and clerk millwork top surface. 
o    Drilling of mounting holes through work surface may be required. 
o    Short cables between microphones and floor boxes may be needed to be fabricated for (4) staff microphones. 
o    Install (1) gooseneck microphone and av extender in new lectern.
o    Drilling of mounting holes through work surface may be required. 
o    Mount and connect (6) ceiling mounted PTZ cameras. 
o    Cabling is already near required location. 
o    Mount and connect (2) shelf mounted PTZ cameras in face of dais in provided niche. 
o    Install (1) ceiling mounted fixed cam in ceiling tile. 
o    Rehang and connect (2) video projectors on in-place existing mounts. 
o    Cabling is already near required location. 
o    The existing projection screens are in-place will remain. 
o    Rehang (2) 75inch video displays on in-place existing ceiling hung mounts. 
o    (1) ceiling mounting system may need to be moved from previous location, about 5 feet away. 
o    The cabling stored below floor will be sorted and run up, through new floor box poke thru pathways.
