The Vendor is required to provide banking services, including reporting, electronic banking, redemption of coupons and debentures, and offsetting services to the Group Members.
- Banking Services
• Core Banking Services:
o Confirm the proponent’s ability to provide all core banking services required by the group. In a separate area, outline additional services that the proponent offers that were not requested in the deliverables.
o Include a step-by-step detailed process for setting up new accounts, changing signatories and closing accounts, and indicate how long each step will take.
• Non-core Banking Services
o Indicate whether the proponent provides the requested non-core banking services and provide information related to each of these services.
• Armoured Car and Cheque Deposit Courier Services:
o Detail The Process To Be Used When A Group Member Requests An Armoured Car Deposit.
• Returned Cheque Handling:
o Detail the process and timing of returned cheque handling, and how notification and reporting to group members will be provided.
• Cheque Processing:
o Detail the process and timing of cheque processing including:
o How cheques received by group members will be processed;
o Timing for deposits and non-sufficient funds (NSF) notifications; and
o Options for digital cheque processing.
• Cash and Coin Supply:
o Detail the process for ordering and delivery requirements of cash and coin.
• Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Services:
o Detail the requirements for group members to utilize PAD services including:
o How information is to be provided; and
o Software that will be provided and the support timelines of that software.
• Acceptance of Payment of Account Service:
o Detail the service that will be oversee by the proponent for acceptance of payment of account service.
• Automated Banking Services:
o Detail the automatic banking services that will be provided as part of the proposed services.
• Merchant Services:
o Detail the merchant services provider that will be an option for group members being proposed to demonstrate the provider and meet the current needs of the group members and meets required legislative requirements.
• Foreign Currency Collection:
o Detail the options available for currency exchange for foreign currency collection.
• Internal Payment Services:
o Detail the proponents internal payment service partners that group members may utilize. Any provider must be able to work with a variety of software programs and be payment card industry (PCI) security compliant.
• Cheque and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Issuance:
o Detail the cheque clearing services and methods of cheque fraud prevention, limits, foreign currency payments and stop payments, including positive pay and payee match services.
• Payroll Direct Deposit:
o Detail the requirements for file input, editing and reporting to utilize this service.
- Wire Payment Services:
• Demonstrate the ability of the financial institution to provide reasonable flexibility and willingness to work with the group members as a business partner;
• Verify that the financial institution will provide computer support services that are compatible with the group members’ computer environment with only minimal changes, revisions, and upgrades if any being required.
