Cash Transit Services

The Vendor is required to provide secure cash transit service to support the district’s food service program and various administrative requirements.
- The district requires the services of a properly licensed and bonded cash transit supplier to transport cash and check deposits from multiple district locations to the district’s designated bank to support the district’s food service program and various administrative requirements.
- The District does not require or encourage using armed transport service staff, nor does it prohibit utilizing armed staff.  This is discretionary on the Supplier’s part.
- Currently there are approximately 390 schools and administrative offices that shall require regular service and five school and administrative offices that may call for specially requested pickups, hereinafter referred to as locations.
- Provide professionally trained, uniformed, English speaking Employees.
- Employees performing pickup services shall wear a complete uniform while on duty, with a company logo and name badge that includes a current picture with complete name, and work in a visible manner throughout the entire shift.
- Supplier shall provide, to the District’s Representative, at the beginning of each month an updated employee list to include all names, signatures, and current photo as seen on that employee’s identification badge.
- The District reserves the right to request removal or replacement of any Supplier personnel that it feels is not performing his/her duties properly.  The replacement of personnel shall be accomplished within two hours of such notification.  No personnel removed from duty at the request of the District shall be assigned to another District facility.
