The Vendor is required to provide retirement investment advisory and consulting services for include:
• Comprehensive financial and strategic support to the authority in connection with its pension and related funding programs.
• Assisting with both short-term and long-term financial planning, including the development of financial and revenue projections to support pension sustainability.
• Analysis and evaluation of funding strategies and financing options, including assessing financial feasibility and identifying innovative or alternative approaches.
• This includes advising on market conditions, trends, and financial products relevant to pension funding and investment.
• Conduct annual pension plan evaluation and improvement assessment.
• Informed of market developments, legislative changes, and regulatory updates that may impact pension financing.
• Guidance on best practices and the development or revision of investment policies and procedures, as well as assistance with financial structures, legal documentation, and escrow funding where applicable.
• Ongoing fiduciary advisory support to the authority, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and governance standards.
• Investment performance reporting and analysis using standardized methods.
• Oversee pension investments according to the investment policy statement, monitoring underperforming investments and recommending actions.
• Support for the evaluation of the third-party administrator's financial condition and contract matters.
• Provide ongoing, as-needed financial advice and perform additional related services as requested by the authority
