The vendor is required to provide investment advisory services for include:
- Advisor services
• Advisor shall provide public equity investment advisory services to construct, maintain, and monitor an investment portfolio that is consistent with and integrated into ERS investment policy statement.
• Advisor shall invest a portfolio in accordance with ERS investment policy statement and provide guidance to employee’s retirement system (ERS) investments staff on aspects of the portfolio, including, but not limited to, sector and security selection, portfolio structure, and timing of recommended purchases and sales.
• Advisor will provide the services to the board, executive director and ERS investments staff to assist in the management of ERS’ public equity assets.
• Advisor shall:
• Provide information, research, and analysis that may be of benefit to ERS;
• Monitor portfolio performance against the designated benchmark(s);
• Provide monthly, quarterly and annual quantitative and qualitative assessments of the portfolio;
• Report timely on key events that may impact the portfolio’s value such as market changes, geopolitical, personnel, or regulatory changes;
• Attend ERS board meetings, investment advisory committee meetings and legislative hearings, as requested; and
• Maintain regular communication with the chief investment officer, managing director of public equity and the external advisor team, including telephone and onsite consultations and assistance, as required by ERS.
