RIN Credit Monetization and Management Services

The vendor required to provide RIN credit management services must include tracking and reporting of d3 RINs in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- This to be a fully contracted and managed program by the successful contractor for RNG RIN management and monetization.
- RNG supply
•    Supply pipeline-quality renewable natural gas (RNG) that qualifies as cellulosic biofuel (d3 RIN) under the EPA renewable fuel standard (RFS). 
•    Deliver RNG through contracted natural gas pathways to designated city of CNG fueling infrastructure. 
•    Comply with all applicable federal, state, and city of requirements governing the sale, distribution, and environmental certification of RNG.
- RIN credit management
•    Register and manage RIN generation, transfer, and sale in the EPA’s moderated transaction system (EMTS). 
•    Track all d3 RINs produced from city RNG consumption and provide full documentation of transactions. 
•    Sell RINS at current market value and remit the city’s revenue share monthly. 
•    Provide monthly updates on RIN volumes, market trends, sales, and revenue. 
•    Deliver quarterly cumulative reports detailing:
o    Total RINS generated
o    Sales activity 
o    Remaining RIN inventory 
o    Total revenue and city share 
o    Submit annual audit-ready reports to the city.
