RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide to ensure it is age-appropriate, secure, effective, and aligned with credit recovery in K-12 environments.
- Content is structured (modular, competency-based, unit-based) to allow students to recover partial or full credit.
- Indicate whether courses support original credit, credit recovery only, or both Classroom & Lab Monitoring
- Features that allow teachers or proctors to monitor student activity in real time during online sessions (e.g., virtual lab environments).
- Indicate any screen monitoring or behavior analytics tools included in the platform, and detail privacy safeguards for student data.
- The solution personalizes instruction based on student prior knowledge, diagnostic results, or performance data.
- The instructional model used (self-paced asynchronous, synchronous teacher-led, blended, or hybrid).
- Identify the role of certified teachers, mentors, or facilitators, including availability for instruction, intervention, and feedback.
- Tools or processes used to ensure academic honesty and verify student identity.
- The platform includes plagiarism detection, secure logins, session monitoring, or proctoring features.
- Teachers, counselors, and administrators monitor student progress toward credit completion.
- Early-warning indicators for off-track students and intervention workflows.
- Reporting tools available to track credit accumulation, course completion, grades, and time-on-task.
- Specify whether reports can be customized, exported, scheduled, or automated.
- Student enrollments are created and maintained, including bulk uploads and automated rostering.
- Identify secure data transfer protocols used.
- Data validation, error handling, and de-duplication processes.
- The solution meets accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Identify supports for students with disabilities, including screen readers, captioning, text-to-speech, translation, and alternative formats.
