The Vendor is required to provide merchant processor must offer the customer convenience fee option and must integrate seamlessly with one or both systems.
- Requirement:
• Process debit and credit card payments via point of sale (web based) through the parks and recreation software known as civic plus, as well as for the automated phone payment system known as selectron for the utility billing division.
• The ability to assess and collect a customer paid convenience fee in the convenience (not absorbed) fee structure.
• Must demonstrate technical expertise, technical capability and functional capacity to process transaction volumes, amounts and information accurately and on time without interruption.
• Must be capable of providing a web portal for transaction research, refund management, and chargeback response.
• All transaction fees are to be collected by the provider through a convenience fee added to the transaction.
• Must be payment card industry – data security standard (PCI-DSS) compliant and shall utilize secure technology to shield against fraudulent activity.
