Computer Aided Dispatch, Mobile and Records Management System

The Vendor is required to provide for implementation of a computer aided dispatch/mobile/records management (CAD/Mobile/RMS) System.
- Current the current marketplace for commercial off the shelf computer aided dispatch/mobile/records management (CAD/Mobile/RMS) System.
- The main station connects to other networks via fiber network connections, redundant where available. The network to the desktop is 1 Gbps with a 10 Gbps backbone between access switches and the network core. The city standardized on Microsoft Windows for desktop computers/workstations for all the dispatch console positions (all desktops and workstations run Windows 11).
- Computer systems and all MDCs are refreshed on average every 5 years. All networking equipment is Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiNet, or Aruba, depending on the component, and servers are Dell. MDCs communicate back to the CAD server via Verizon Wireless' 5G cellular network utilizing Absolute Secure Access for VPN.
- Provide responses addressing the following areas:
•    The functionality of each major system (i.e., CAD, Mobile, RMS, GIS/Mapping, Business Intelligence, Analytics, etc.) for Police
•    Major CAD/Mobile/RMS system modules
•    CAD/Mobile/RMS system integration capabilities
•    Mapping functionality & ESRI integration
•    CAD/Mobile/RMS system dashboard, analytics and reporting capabilities
•    Business Intelligence solution options if different than above system reporting capabilities
•    CAD/Mobile/RMS system configuration capabilities
•    Technical architecture information – Uptime, dependability, performance, continuity of operations/hot fail-over, disaster recovery
•    System interface information – Typical federal, state and local databases plus third party applications
•    Approach regarding legacy CAD/Mobile/RMS system data conversion and/or access to legacy CAD/Mobile/RMS system data
•    Support and warranty information
•    Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing, including five-year Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) estimates
•    Estimated implementation schedule from contract signing to final acceptance.
