The Vendor is required to provide Computer-Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL) system for the cambus transit system.
- Solutions should integrate with current integrational centers and feed into our current rider facing application.
- The intent of the proposed solution is to enhance operational efficiency, automate dispatch functions, and contribute to customer service efforts.
- The system should include solutions for dispatch, operator, supervisor and administrative users.
- Solution should include:
• Real-time vehicle tracking using GPS with frequent intervals of refresh.
• Automated dispatch functionality, including route/vehicle assignment and operator management.
• Web-based user interface for dispatchers, supervisors and administrators - software for operator-facing mobile device or tablet for route assignment information, including real-time schedule adherence.
• Data reporting and analytics tools for ridership, on-time performance, vehicle/system history, and other operational metrics and KPI’S. Data reporting features should support national transit database (NTD) reporting.
• Ability for cambus staff to adjust route alignments and schedules as permanent changes or as temporary detours/service adjustments. Please indicate if your solution offers this as a service provided in addition to end-user managed.
• Incorporation of operator panic button to covertly alert dispatch to safety or security threat (distress signal).
- Solution currently utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the software. Include the types of AI, such as, but not limited to, Agentic, Generative, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, etc. that are used in proposed software and the purpose for utilizing each specific type of AI in Supplier's proposed product.
