- Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD)
• Centralized and/or distributed CAD capability supporting the 14 patrol officers and the 23 secondary-school dispatchers.
• Call entry, prioritization, unit recommendation, and status tracking.
• Real-time unit location / AVL support for mobile patrol units.
• Interactive campus maps and floor plans for all 80 campuses (or ability to import and maintain them).
• Multi-user concurrent access with role-based permissions.
• Mobile access (app or responsive interface) for field officers.
• Automated, configurable notifications via SMS and email to designated personnel upon the occurrence of defined system events. Notification delivery should not be dependent on the recipient being logged into the system.
- Records Management System (RMS)
• Incident Report creation, review, approval, and storage.
• Patrol Log / Activity Log functionality for campus security officers and patrol officers.
• Role-based access so that the 95 campus security officers can complete reports and logs without access to full dispatch functions.
• Searchable case history, person/vehicle records, and reporting/analytics tools.
• FERPA-aware data handling and access controls for student-related information

• Support for a hybrid dispatch model (District-level coordination of elementary patrols + independent secondary-school dispatchers).
• Configurable user roles and permissions that clearly separate full CAD users from limited RMS-only users.
• Campus mapping / GIS capability with ability to display floor plans and key locations.
• Integration readiness for future systems (video management, access control, panic/alert systems, radio consoles).
• Audit logging and reporting of system activity.
• Cloud-hosted or hybrid deployment options preferred; on-premises will be considered if strongly justified.
