The vendor is required to provide security services and ongoing support for the elections department.
- Security services that include:
• Stationary security officers
• Roving security officers
• Mobile security patrols
• Alarm response
• General consulting services
- The primary responsibility will be to protect elections property and prevent potential threats, tampering, or damage.
- Service locations and hours:
• The county will open up to four vote centers (voting locations), which will be identified three months prior to Election Day; these locations will be distributed across the county as follows:
• Two locations will require stationary security 10-11 days before Election Day.
• Two locations will require stationary security 4-5 days before Election Day.
- The typical schedule for security officers will be from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am; additional locations may be opened in the lead-up to Election Day.
