The vendor is required to provide security systems services to be solely used by officers, on an as-needed basis.
- Provide prequalified suppliers who can offer security services during electoral events across various regions.
- Security systems as required:
- Installation and activation of alarm systems
• Must install and configure alarm systems on an ongoing basis during the term of the contract;
• Must be prepared to install the alarm system within no more than three (3) calendar days after returning officers secure their lease;
• Must activate the alarm system and ensure it is functional for the duration of the lease;
• Activation of the alarm system must be completed promptly after installation, ensuring connectivity to a central monitoring station; and
• Must be prepared to conduct rapid deinstallation services, which must be fully completed within 10 days following the election.
- Monitoring and response services
• Provide 24/7 monitoring services for the alarm system, including weekends and holidays.
• Phone response to any alarm triggers must be within 5 minutes of notification, and in person response 15-30 minutes unless otherwise agreed upon by the returning officer.
• Responsible for ongoing maintenance of the security systems, including timely resolution of any technical issues.
• Upon arrival at the site, the contractor's personnel must sign in and out, following the established protocol.
• Any repairs or additional work required beyond the initial call-up must be approved in writing by the returning officer before commencement.
• Must ensure the availability of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for critical security equipment, ensuring continuous operation during power outages.
• Personnel must possess the necessary equipment and expertise to troubleshoot and rectify equipment failures.
