Family Resource Center Security Services

The Vendor is required to provide security guard services at the city family resource center (FRC) located at state.
- The security guard shall be responsible for the protection of property, employees, tenants, clients, visitors, and equipment on FRC premises and other services sites as assigned.
- Provide a security guard for fifty (50) hours a week.
- The guard will provide security from 8:30 am to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, and for any other times specified by the CITY.
- The guard will have a one hour unpaid lunch. Two fifteen (15) minute breaks are also provided.
- Monitoring activity in the lobbies, restrooms, conference rooms, and parking lot by sight and logging daily activity.
- Perform at a minimum hourly scans in both FRC buildings and the exterior of the buildings.
- Addressing behaviors that violate the city family resource center rules.
- Keeping exit doors clear at all times.
- Under no circumstances should doors be propped open.
- If a door is propped open, the security guard will remove the obstruction immediately.
- Note and if possible remedy potentially hazardous conditions and items and report conditions to facilities coordinator or the administrative assistant serving as the backup facilities
- Perform escorts when necessary or requested.
- Document all unusual occurrences on the appropriate report form or and in the daily work log.
- Monitor the use of the county video phone, entry phones and phones located within both a-b-c-d and e-f-g-h buildings.
- If customer is abusing the phone or any other city property, guard will ask the customer to end the call and leave the premises.
- In the case of an emergency, or the city’s request for a supervisor to come on site, the successful vendor shall be able to have a supervisor on site within 45 minutes, for the duration of this contract.
