The vendor is required to provide that video surveillance system maintenance:
• Monitoring
• Daily reporting of cameras and network status
• Case management and documentation
• Dedicated video systems manager
• Hours of service will be from 0000-0600, 1800-2400 daily (including weekends and observed holidays as outlines in statement of work, with additional hours to be scheduled upon request
• Time and date accuracy
• Point to point encryption to ensure security of the connection
- Procure services from a third-party camera monitoring company to monitor approximately 200 cameras by utilizing a point-to-point encrypted connection for wired connectivity to cameras.
- Include for services:
1. General project management services: these services may include, but are not limited to:
• Development of key project plans and documents (i.e., budgets, schedule, work breakdown structure, training plans, etc.)
• Project oversight and management.
2. Verification of design:
• These services will include a review of the agency’s conceptual and technical requirements for the proposed encrypted connection to agency’s security network and video monitoring system.
3. Monitoring
• These services will include dedicated monitoring service with daily incident reporting.
• Hours of service will be from 0000-0600 and 1800-2400 daily with additional hours to be scheduled upon request, including additional hours for emergency conditions, evacuation, inclement weather impacts, and other unforeseen events.
4. Hardware and software installation
• These services also include the setup and connection from the capitol data center to the off-site video monitoring location.
5. Test, training, and transition
• These services include the proper training of all identified personnel on the operation and maintenance of the monitoring system; as well as ensuring that key transitional work tasks are completed to transition the management of the system to the agency.
• These services also include system testing, issue identification and resolution, to ensure proper functioning of the system.
6. Ongoing software, hardware, and monitoring support (service level agreement):
• This includes the establishment of a service level agreement (SLA) between the agency and the vendor for the ongoing support and maintenance of all software and monitoring components of the proposed solution.
7. Highest industry standards:
• Proposer shall meet the highest standards prevalent in the industry.
