The vendor is required to provide a turn-key solution to replace access controls systems and equipment throughout the city.
- The access control system will be upgraded to utilize current, reliable, and supportable technology to allow the city to secure and control access to buildings and assets.
- The new access control system will use lenel software and may reuse existing devices throughout the city.
- The proposal will include all necessary hardware and lenel software cost for the implementation of state-of-the-art devices, installation of system, training of city staff on operation of the equipment and software, and general maintenance and on-going support for devices and software.
- Access control solution will be lenel cloud based – you must already be a lenel approved value added reseller to be considered
- Police department will have a separate instance for most doors
- All external doors shall fail locked with backup access key functions when power is lost
• Crash bars or strikers only, no magnetic locks.
• Where existing external doors have keys, any new hardware must be compatible with existing keyways
- Any doors that are modified will have all hardware that will not be reused removed.
- Example, magnetic locks hardware and Rex Motion sensors.
- Any holes resulting from modifications as part of the project shall be filled, sealed, or covered
- No wireless locks may be utilized without express consent from city.
- The only exception to this is the front door of the art center.
- Any networked devices with a login must have password changed from default and provided to it for documentation during project
- Based on locations updated by the proposal, vendor shall provide a yearly service contract detailing the following
• Any proposed service level agreements
• Response times to trouble calls including on site calls
• Ability to provide simple support and initial troubleshooting remotely
• Hourly cost for service
• Agreement to retain common parts on the shelf so that repair times for hardware failure can be minimized
- Provide or coordinate support with lenel for integration of lenel software with existing on prem milestone Xprotect professional + surveillance system.
- All panels replaced or added should be key lockable and keyed alike with at least 4 keys provided to it at installation of the first new or replacement panel
- All panels should be labeled with the following some lines may not be applicable to all panels
• Panel id-in-lenel
• Powered from panel xxx circuit xxx
• IP address.
