Safety and Security Director Service

The Vendor is required to provide for leadership services involving safety and security for all schools and buildings within the district.
- The nation regarding school safety and security, the school department is committed to making its school buildings as safe and secure as possible for students and staff.
- Full-time position requiring some evening and weekend hours as emergencies and/or schedules necessitate.
- Skilled at de-escalation, conflict resolution, and presentation of school emergency plans
- Strategic Planning abilities focusing on developing plans, protocols, and training programs
- Ability to lead schools in drills and compliance with state laws
- Ability to collaborate with local police, fire departments, mental health professionals, and other stakeholders
- Trustworthy with faculty, staff, and student populations
- Tech capabilities utilizing emergency notification systems.
- Ability to create and maintain emergency plans
- Strong understanding of technology related to school safety and security
- Experience in vulnerability and threat assessment/preferred certifications
- Strong organizational skills.
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
