The Vendor is required to provide the design, supply, installation, and training/hand over of the following security system enhancement components at the center.
- Provide electrical and control wiring for a complete system, providing in their proposals an inventory of all electrical needs to power the system including power requirements and data.
- Training and updated facility maps that reference the configuration of materials as provided for in this procurement process.
- Must also include a list of common replacement components with contemporary pricing and availability (i.e., supply timeframes) based on their proposed solution.
- Removal and disposal of the sixteen (16) current cameras and all their hardware
• Proponents are encouraged in their proposals to demonstrate an ability to salvage any current materials (hardware, wiring, etc.) to be repurposed; however, any current component not being repurposed should be removed from the facility and disposed of by the successful proponent
• Existing DVR located in the “breakaway” (concession in the foyer) must be turned over to the municipality.
• Replacement of the current cameras, their hardware and software, with up to sixty (60) new cameras throughout the facility
• Cameras that will require audio recording in addition to video recording, as well as weather rating (exterior cameras, as well as cameras located in either of the arenas and on the pool deck).
• The pool is a salt-chlorine system, and therefore cameras affixed within the vicinity should be corrosion resistant
- The software that permits access to security camera and motion sensor capture should have tiers to access, wherein front-line staff could access the software to see the facility in real time, however, a select set of supervisors/managers have access to pull past footage
• Proponents may include options and corresponding pricing for video storage options based on the length of time the storage may be saved for, including surveillance options that run on variable times or motion-detection activation, etc.
• Proponents should demonstrate in their proposals that their solutions will provide sufficient capture for the purpose of handing footage over to a local authority; however, quality should not require significant costs for storage space on servers.
• Configurations for variable sensitivity may be considered.
• A facility-wide Public Announcement (PA) system that must have a central, secure means to operate, with messaging to be audible throughout the Centre complex.
