The Vendor is required to provide security services for State events.
- Guest Services Event Staff – Guest Services event staff will be expected to provide usher/guest services support that directly impacts the experience and safety of patrons attending events at state university.
• Staff should be trained and/or capable of the following:
• Crowd management & evacuation best practices, including annual training pertaining to specific venues on the campus of state.
• Ticket taking/scanning @ points of ingress
• Emergency response & reporting (fights, intoxication, patron misbehavior, etc.)
• Customer service best practices & creative problem solving
• Enforcement of facility/event policies & procedures
• Standing for long periods of time & working in varying work environments (outdoors/indoors, inclement weather, loud environments, etc.)
• When requested, assistance in simple event setup/strike needs such as setting/striking chairs prior to large scale events, etc.
- Event Security – Event Security staff will be expected to provide and execute duties directly related to the security and safety of patrons, artists/performers, facility operations, etc.
• Staff should be trained and/or capable of the following:
• Patron screening execution & best practices (clear bag screening, metal detector screening, etc.)
• Enforcement of facility policy & procedures including prohibited items, alcohol policies, patron conduct, etc.
• Access Control / Management
• Crowd management & evacuation best practices
• Emergency response & coordination with local authorities (police, fire/medical, SFM, etc.)
- Contract Period/Term: 5 years
