Security Officer Services

The Vendor is required to provide of professional, uniformed security services for athletic events, special events, and university-chartered events at university.
- Provide Trained Security Personnel To Perform The Following Duties:
•    Event Screening and Security: 
o    Conduct thorough bag searches and patron screenings for prohibited and illegal items, adhering to event-specific guidelines.
o    Utilize metal detectors as required.
o    Coordinate with oversight officers for credential checks of off-duty or plain-clothes law enforcement.
o    Promptly report any security concerns or non-compliance issues to the assigned supervisor.
•    Crowd Management: 
o    Assist with emergency evacuations and conduct protective sweeps.
o    Monitor crowd behavior and facility conditions to prevent potential safety hazards (e.g., overcrowding, blocked exits, altercations).
o    Report any crowd management concerns to the assigned supervisor.
•    Access and Traffic Control: 
o    Control and authorize access to restricted areas for authorized personnel and visitors.
o    Verify parking passes in designated lots.
o    Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic to ensure efficient ingress and egress.
o    Report any parking or traffic-related issues to the assigned supervisor.
•    Alcohol Service Monitoring: 
o    Monitor alcohol sales to prevent underage purchases, identify fraudulent identification, and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
o    Report any observed violations to the assigned supervisor.
