Unarmed and Uniformed Security Services

The Vendor is required to provide security service providers to furnish unarmed, uniformed security personnel to protect and monitor two municipal utility sites.
- Patrol Duties
1. Security officers shall conduct routine patrols of each facility during non-business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Patrols may be conducted on foot and/or by vehicle as appropriate for the site.
2. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facilities, including all exterior perimeters, building entrances, and designated secure areas.
•    Patrols are expected during off-hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
•    Maintain a detailed log of patrol activities for each shift.
- Reporting
1. Daily activity log: each security officer must maintain a shift log that details patrol start/end times, areas inspected, incidents observed, and actions taken.
2. Patrol report: a written report summarizing the patrol must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. The following day for each patrol conducted. Reports must be clear, complete, and submitted in a format approved by the city.
3. Performance reviews: upon request, the contractor shall participate in periodic performance evaluation meetings with city staff to review service quality and address any concerns.
- Availability and flexibility
1. The contractor shall maintain flexibility to respond to the city’s evolving security needs.
•    This includes the ability to:
•    Adjust patrol coverage: modify patrol frequency, coverage hours, and personnel level.
•    Provide short-notice coverage: make best efforts to fulfill requests for additional or emergency coverage with less than three (3) business days’ notice.
•    Maintain communication: ensure security staff and management are accessible and responsive to city communications during and outside of normal patrol hours.
