Security Guard Services

The Vendor is required to provide and/or assisting in all the following services, including but not limited to: fully staffing security posts, roving security patrols, access control, electronic security surveillance, emergency evacuation/shelter-in-place procedures, special event parking management, assist local emergency responders and other services.
- Security is tasked with the physical security of the utility’s assets and employees. 
- Provides electric, fiber, and natural gas, water and wastewater services, requiring hundreds of remote sites to ensure quality operation of these critical utilities.
- Proximity card access system with 300+ card readers across multiple campuses. 
- Officers will monitor and operate this access system throughout their shifts.
- A video surveillance system of 400+ cameras which are monitored primarily through a control system located at various guard posts and the Security Control Room housed at the Center.
- Officers shall be unarmed and shall not carry any weapons including firearms, batons, knives, knuckles, stun guns or other similar devices.
- Officers shall assist board security with padlocks, locks, cores, keys, chains, and electronic keys and locks, including issuance of new keys and replacement of broken/lost keys, cores, and locks, as well as enforcement and troubleshooting of the electronic key system.
