Internet Protocol Based Surveillance Camera and Door Access Control Services

The vendor is required to provide IP-based video surveillance camera system, also known as closed-circuit television (cctv), to include video recording storage and archiving, that is fully compatible with any existing current-life IP-based cameras the institution currently owns.
- Surveillance camera system
•    Exacq vision client: the software platform is running on a windows server 2022 standard edition. 
•    The majority of the current cameras on this client software are brand cameras. 
•    A few legacy multi-cam and PTZ axis-brand cameras are on this software as well, which have reached their end of life. 
•    The college is seeking to:
o    Replace all axis brand cameras
o    Add new cameras throughout campus (indoor and outdoor)
•    There are 3 exacq vision PowerEdge r360 recording servers (storage) associated with the legacy axis cameras, accessed with the exacq vision video management system (VMS).
•    #1 exacqvision1 has a media drive with a 430gb capacity and an archive drive with a 33tb capacity. 
•    Archiving occurs every 4 hours with a retention schedule of 30 days. 
•    #2 exacqvision2 has a media drive with a 430gb capacity and an archive drive with a 33tb capacity. 
•    Archiving occurs every 4 hours with a retention schedule of 30 days. 
•    #3 exacqvision3 has a media drive with a 430gb capacity and an archive drive with a 33tb capacity. 
•    Archiving occurs every 4 hours with a retention schedule of 30 days. 
•    The cameras are divided within these 3 servers:
o    128-channel server 1: 101= 25 available camera licenses
o    128-channel server 2: 100= 35 available camera licenses
o    128-channel server 3: 100= 57 available camera licenses
o    Combined available camera licenses: 117 available camera licenses
- Access control system
•    Existing access control technology in place on campus called Kantech. 
•    The Kantech Entra-pass corporate edition system version is 9.00.249. 
•    The doors that have access control technology are outfitted with magnetic locks or door strikes. 
•    Most have request-to-exit (rex) motion detectors and emergency exit buttons with integrated timers on the accompanying wall (green buttons).
