The Vendor is required to provide security services for various county medical and behavioral health facilities.
- Temporary security workers, to safeguard equipment and property, prepare reports, conduct visual checks of areas in and around 18 various county buildings, offices, suites and properties listed throughout the county.
- There are currently 17 open and operational buildings that require security, with 3 additional sites in the process of opening during contract years.
- Conduct background checks to ensure that its security personnel assigned to perform duties under this Contract do not have criminal records.
- Security personnel must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to use good judgment in stressful situations with the ability to provide protection on County premises for staff, patients and/or visitors.
- Conduct visitor check-in and badging by identifying individuals of the public and reason for visiting County premises.
- Security personnel shall not carry firearms on County premises.
- Contractors will need to be able to monitor and respond to unauthorized visitors at the locations and create a visible security presence.
- Provide uniformed security personnel to perform security related services at the department facilities listed for up to seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours per day.
- Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Monitoring access points and screening visitors
• Conducting foot and/or vehicle patrols
• Assisting in emergency situations and coordinating with law enforcement
• Reporting incidents and maintaining daily activity logs
• Performing site-specific security tasks as assigned by County personnel.
