Security Installation System and Maintenance Services

The Vendor is required to provide security installation and maintenance/repair service for the city.
- Furnish and assume full responsibility for everything required for the orderly progress and proper execution and completion of all work services, to include all supervision, labor, materials, parts, transportation, insurance, bonds, miscellaneous supplies, and other facilities and incidentals necessary to provide security installation and maintenance/repair service for the City.
- Provide and supervise security technicians to provide services for all shifts and sites for which security technicians are required by this Contract or requested by the City and shall make best efforts to assign security technicians consistently to certain sites so that security technicians become more familiar with the standards/procedures the City has set.
- Security technicians shall have a strong, local presence, provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors, provide security responses in a corrective manner, including responding within two (2) hours to service calls.
- The Contractor shall install new systems or replacement parts (or systems) shall be installed in a workmanlike manner, in accordance with manufacturer’s approved wiring diagrams.
- Clearly label all equipment installed on both sides (the door side and security room).
- All equipment shall be designated and implied for its intended use in the conditions it is used.
- Provide competent, fully qualified (Certified in the equipment they are installing) security technicians as well as the necessary equipment and supervision to provide high-quality security installation and maintenance/repair services at the facilities.
- This consists of service calls, projects (current and future), and any pertinent information needed to keep the City up to date.
