Security Consultants Services

The Vendor is required to provide security consultants services. 
- Work includes, but is not limited to, design, contract administration and technical advice related to security systems for various buildings and properties.
- Design and prepare specifications, cost analysis, reports, and/or assist with content to be included in tender documents based on the requirements and standards of the board with regard to its video surveillance, access control systems, security alarm panels, etc.
- Support the tendering process and complete contract administration including certifying contractor payments, processing of change orders, attendance at construction meetings, etc.
- Provide technical advice and guidance regarding best practice approaches, standards, preventative maintenance and repair plans for security systems in state elementary and secondary schools.
- Be responsible for the testing, commissioning, and training requirements for installers of all security systems to ensure it functions in accordance with the design.
- Review and confirm that all as-built documentation, warranties, and operation and maintenance manuals for handover are received.
- All work shall be performed by the applicant according to all applicable codes, regulations, and standards to the complete satisfaction of the board.
- Visit various sites for the purpose of assessment and planning.
- Video surveillance is IP-based and must be integrated with other security systems currently in operation at board including level/s2 access control and security alarm panels.
