1. Access control and alarm monitoring system (ACAMS)
• A computerized access control and alarm monitoring system (ACAMS) is employed at airport to coordinate personnel and vehicle access control at approximately 800 doors and 8 vehicle access points.
• There are 2 access-controlled doors and 6 vehicle gates at the county airport.
• This system is designed for high availability utilizing a clustering architecture.
- Card reader and multi-plexor connectivity is provided via the authority IT infrastructure. system peripherals shall include:
• Input devices
• Output devices
• Storage devices
• Network devices
• Access management
• Surveillance integration
• Event logging
• Remote management
• Alarm generation
2. Video surveillance system (VSS)
• VSS utilizing approximately 1500 cameras throughout facilities at international airport, and 35 cameras at the county.
• The function of the VSS it to provide the authority the ability to monitor, record, store, playback and retrieve video of activities as required.
• The ongoing maintenance of the VSS is essential to protect the integrity of recorded video and data.
• Authority is responsible for securing the collected video and data from an unauthorized access.
• Authority VSS consists of approximately 1535 cameras total at both airports.
