The Vendor is required to provide the services of a professional security agency or organization for the purpose of protecting center.
- Logs and incident reports shall be maintained at all times by security personnel reporting all unusual occurrences.
- Security officers must have good oral and written communication skills. They must demonstrate good judgment and tact in dealing with all levels of society.
- The Security Officer(s) will:
• Be expected to be on duty from 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. The Center is closed from 12:00pm-1:00pm for lunch. The Security Officer will take lunch at this time.
• Provide building security coverage for 37.5 hours per week except for weeks where there is a holiday. The agency will not pay overtime rates or any rates different than those specified in the fully executed contract and any subsequent fully executed contract modification.
• Ask visitors for their reason for visiting the center.
• Monitor entrances and exits, ensuring the safety of those within the centers.
• In the event of a security breach, be able to respond quickly to protect people and property.
• Minimize harm and maintain order in crisis situations.
• Preparation of incident reports daily/weekly.
• Perform crowd control outside and inside the building, if needed.
• Become familiar with the location’s tenants and the services provided by such tenants.
• Allow into the building only authorized individuals and any guests who are permitted access.
