RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive, turnkey solution for the implementation of the following at every district campus and facility: 
•    Pre-work for, and installation of, silent panic alert technology (spat), 
•    Pre-work for, and installation of, access control systems with video door cameras, and 
•    Pre-work for, and installation of, security cameras, and 
•    Training designated personnel on the usage, troubleshooting, and software configuration of these systems.
- Assessment of Each District Campus and Facility, and Project Plan and Project Schedule
•    Conduct site surveys assessing each campus and facility.
•    Identify and account for incomplete work already initiated and hardware already installed by a prior contractor at certain campuses and facilities and identify and account for hardware already purchased by prior contractor that the District has in inventory.
•    Identify and communicate to the District what pre-work may be required to support the installation of the systems.
•    The Project Plan and Project Schedule must take into account the pre-work necessary to support the installation of the systems, the District’s specified sequence of campuses and facilities to be completed, and must consider that all work is to be completed after regular school and working hours.
•    The Project Plan and Project Schedule must contain a detailed budget, as well as specific deadlines for: commencing and completing pre-work at each campus and facility, purchasing hardware, commencing and completing hardware installation at each campus and facility, integration with existing District systems at each campus and facility, and training designated personnel.
- Pre-work at each District Campus and Facility
•    Installing all necessary conduit, raceway, cabling, and pathways necessary for the installation of the systems.
•    Conduct all necessary drilling, cutting, boring, fishing, and related pre-work to facilitate proper installation of the systems.
•    Installing required pathways and conduits for extending data cabling from the nearest network closets to the identified doors, as necessary.
•    Installing Cat6 or better cabling to support high-speed network connectivity for the systems.
•    Labeling of all cabling and components for clear identification.
•    Complete drop certification to ensure network drops meet industry performance standards and reliability.
- Must procure and install silent panic alert technology (SPAT), access control systems and video door stations, and security cameras for each entry point designated by the District at every District campus and facility.
- Integration and Programming
•    Configuring credentialing and access levels to manage user permissions for secure access.
•    Creating detailed campus and facility maps within AXIS Camera Station Pro, and place interactive icons for all installed devices, including cameras, door access readers, door controllers, and any SPAT-related modules, thereby enabling users of the campus and facility maps to visually locate and monitor devices directly from the map interface.
•    Integrating the AXIS unified management console with the District’s PA/VoIP system to initiate and automate lockdown and other emergency announcements must integrate with campus’s public address system (pre-approved tones/messages), with role-based access, SPAT-triggered activation, priority override of selected or all zones.
•    Enabling SMS and email notifications to alert designated staff of critical events.
