RFP Description

The vendor required to provide security systems, including equipment, installation, configuration, and support, including coordination with existing campus systems for the university and its ancillary properties.
- System design and installation
•    Complete new installations, replacements, and system expansions
•    Provide design support when requested, including:
o    Recommended camera locations including coverage of access-controlled doors as appropriate and provide site surveys for site planner in command
o    Mounting methods and heights
o    Coverage and field-of-view considerations
•    Provide installation services, including:
o    Camera and accessory mounting including access-controlled doors coverage
o    Coordinate with the university’s existing access control system (Gallagher) and designated system administrator
o    Configure and validate event-to-video integration between Gallagher access events and cameras supported by both systems
o    Cabling, terminations, and labeling.
o    Coordination with university it and facilities
•    Provide replacement services:
o    Contractor will maintain an inventory of spare parts to maintain and service the supplied equipment
•    Gallagher access control system shall remain the system of record; no changes to configuration, credentials, controllers, or door hardware shall be made without prior written authorization from the university.
•    Integration activities are dependent on the availability and cooperation of the university’s access control system administrator.
•    Participate in all required site walk-throughs and provide written pricing within two (2) weeks of each site visit.
- Configuration and commissioning
•    Configure device(s) in command
•    Conduct system testing and validation, including:
o    Camera views and positioning
o    Recording functionality
o    Overall system performance
o    Utilize university-provided floor plans to add and configure camera views within command as part of the installation process.
o    Delivery of a fully operational system prior to acceptance
•    Validate access-control-to-video integration by demonstrating that applicable access events correctly link to corresponding video footage, where supported.
