Vehicle Dashboard Camera Safety System

The Vendor is required to provide for a comprehensive drive cam / video telematics solution to enhance safety, incident visibility, operator coaching, and fleet oversight.
- The solution shall support:
•    259 Fixed Route buses
•    135 Paratransit buses
•    20 non-revenue vehicles
- Video Safety & Behavior Monitoring:
•    Video on Demand with access to continuously recorded video (up to 200 hours per lens), available via desktop and mobile devices, including live streaming and access while vehicle ignition is off
•    Continuous Behavior Monitoring with always-on behavior analysis to identify behavior patterns over time
•    Driver Event Tagging allowing drivers to manually record and tag events (e.g., emergencies, passenger incidents, external events)
•    Automated and professional review identifying 60+ driver behaviors
•    Transit-specific behavior detection, including but not limited to:
o    Railroad crossing stops
o    Passenger presence and seatbelt use
o    Passenger falls
o    Passengers standing in front of the line
•    Real-time visual and audio alerts for driver distractions, including:
o    No seatbelt
o    Inattentiveness
o    Handheld device use
o    Eating, drinking, or smoking
•    Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) alerts, including:
o    Unsafe following distance
o    Speeding
o    Pedestrian detection
o    Rolling stop signs
- Driver Coaching & Behavior Improvement
•    Multiple coaching models, including:
o    Self-coaching
o    Remote coaching
o    Formal face-to-face coaching
•    Tools to recognize and reward safe driving behaviors
•    Coaching effectiveness scoring to measure coaching performance
•    Driver check-in tools, including mobile application access
