School Security Officer Services

The Vendor is required to provide school security officer services for include:
•    Have and if awarded, maintain any required certificates and licenses related to the provision of this service. 
•    Submit monthly invoices to the designated department that documents the charges for services rendered for that month. 
•    Ensure that the security service is licensed, and security officers are certified under state law, with a certificate of insurance. 
•    A copy of licensing and insurance certificates must be submitted with the proposal and maintained during the contract period. 
•    Ensure that the appropriate professional reference and criminal background checks are conducted on all individuals employed by the contractor prior to hiring, and conduct an annual background check to ensure ongoing eligibility. 
•    The contractor will maintain a drug-free workplace in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. 
•    The contractor will have a drug testing program that includes, at a minimum:
o    Pre-employment testing
o    Random testing
o    Reasonable suspicion testing
o    Post-incident testing.
