The Vendor is required to provide to gather market input from qualified firms regarding procurement plans to greatly expand surveillance camera monitoring.
- Provide an electric utility operating critical infrastructure facilities including electrical substations.
- It currently operates a Video Management System (VMS) supporting approximately sixteen (16) indoor and outdoor surveillance cameras at its business office which are monitored 24x7 inside agency control room.
- Provide to replace the existing VMS and expand surveillance monitoring to six (6) additional facilities, including electrical substations, and anticipates purchasing approximately fifty (50) cameras.
- Provide to hire professional consulting services to assess the existing environment, define future-state surveillance standards and architecture, evaluate and recommend a replacement VMS platform, and develop a comprehensive, vendor-neutral Request for Proposals (RFP) for system deployment.
- The objectives of this professional consulting services engagement are to:
• Assess the current surveillance environment
• Identify operational, technical, and cybersecurity gaps
• Define future-state surveillance architecture
• Evaluate and recommend a VMS platform
• Develop technical and functional standards
• Produce a comprehensive, vendor-neutral RFP for system implementation
• Assist in proposal evaluation to ensure consistent technical and financial comparison of vendor submissions.
